The Readthrough of Time continues this week with The Shadow Rises, the fourth volume in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. Would I want to own my personal copy if I didn't already own it ? The reason being the conceit all female characters share in The Wheel of Time's series, that men are idiots and only women know what needs to be done. After breezing through the book and begging for the next two in the series, I think I speed read through tGH & DR so fast that it still seemed like FOREVER before Shadow Rising came out near the end of 92.
